Monday, 23rd January 2017 Hotel Royal Plaza, New Delhi

On 23rd January 2017, EBG India organised a workshop on "Building roadmap for EBG India". The aim of the workshop was to encourage fruitful discussions between the EBG members in order build a way forward for EBG India for the years to come. The workshop was conducted in Hotel Royal Plaza, New Delhi and was sponsored by Veolia Waters India. The workshop started with an inaugural address by Mr Raman Sidhu, Chairman EBG India. Mr Sidhu focussed on a collaborative approach from the EBG members to help EBG take strong stance on matters which influence European Businesses in India. He also focussed on information sharing between the members on matters of mutual interest. The floor was then taken over by Mr Manod Jinnuri from Saab India. Mr Jinnuri also focussed on the collective approach from the members. During the workshop, the members were divided into smaller groups for more focussed discussion. Several current and relevant questions were put across the members and the members were encouraged to have group discussions on the topics. After several minutes of discussion each group was asked to present their views on those topics. Ideas from different groups were then compiled and combined by Mr Jinnuri. The ideas and responses collected during the workshop will be used to draw a roadmap for the future activities and status of EBG India as the prime advocacy group for the European Businesses in India. The workshop ended with a vote of thanks by Ms Rekha Khanna, Chairperson EBG Delhi Chapter. Ms Khanna emphasised that EBG is nothing but its members and whatever actions are decided for the future of EBG can only be successful with constant and meaningful initiatives and support from the members.
